With our gratitude to our supporters and our sympathy to all those who did not manage to acquire tickets in time we have to terminate the sales of regular tickets. We thank you for your support and attention in the last weeks! Therefore we have prepared a special surprise for friends and fans of the Science Ball: We are giving away 5% discount on 200 full price tickets as well as on tables in the ballroom and the adjacent rooms, which are ordered in our onlineshop until January 6, 2018. This image of the ball ambassadors was taken on December 12, 2017 in the Stadtsenatssitzungsaal of the Vienna City Hall by Sabine Hauswirth. Large demand due to late semester break – Past balls all sold out
Vienna (OTS) – Starting Monday, November 13, 2017, tickets for the 4th Vienna Science Ball will be available in the web shop. As the previous events were sold out early, the chair of the organizing committee Oliver Lehmann expects for this year’s ball an even greater demand, also as the semester break this year starts one week later. Uups we did it again. As it is essential for ball organizers to sell only as many tickets as there is capacity in the Vienna town hall, we have to stop selling student tix! They are completely sold out! Thanks for your support!
Regular tickets at a price of € 90 are still available, as we have a small number left. Tickets are available in our Webshop.
Our ball office is open from today, Monday, January 9! All tickets for the Vienna Ball of Sciences 2017 bought in the Webshop may be collected from January 9 to January 27, Monday to Friday, 14.30 p.m. – 18.30 p.m. at Palais Fürstenberg (1010 Vienna, Grünangergasse 4, U1/U3 Stephansplatz).

In September 2015, the Universities Austria uniko founded the MORE-initiative. Young people coming to Austria after fleeing their country, bear a lot of potential and knowledge, which may be successfully fostered and integrated in the receiving societies. With basic needs such as shelter, food and medical care fulfilled, MORE seeks to develop future opportunities for refugees. This year, the Vienna Ball of Sciences again supports this great initiative with all generated money at the roulette-table of our partner Casinos Austria.
