The 2G Plus rule for the ball visit

As organizing committee, we will take all measures in close cooperation with the authorities to minimize or eliminate any risks. The most important measure will be taken by the ball visitors themselves through their vaccination.

  • If you have already been vaccinated, we thank you for your foresight and your contribution so far to overcoming the pandemic. Please remember to get your booster vaccination four months after your initial immunization.
  • If you have not yet been vaccinated, now is the time, because even with the recommended interval between the first and second dose, you will be able to attend the ball at the end of January.
  • If you do not want to be vaccinated, you will not be able to attend the ball. Under no circumstances.

The measures in detail: For all guests the 2G Plus rule applies.

1) Valid vaccination with a vaccine approved in the EU (i.e. currently not Sinovac or Sputnik) or proof of recovery, documented with an official certificate in the form of a QR code, stored in the Red Cross app (or an EU equivalent):
2) Negative PCR test result (not older than 48 hours at the time of the ball start), documented with an official certificate in the form of a QR code, stored in the Red Cross app (or EU equivalent):
3) Personalized ticket. Name, address, date of birth, cell phone number and email address must be provided when registering for the ball after purchasing the ticket and will be stored as a QR code, which must be presented on the cell phone upon entry.

Only if all conditions are fulfilled in the form described above, the visit of the ball is allowed. If even one of these conditions is not met, entry to the City Hall will be denied and the ball ticket will be forfeited without refund.

We will inform you in time about the exact organization of the controls during the admission. In any case, plan more time than usual for a ball visit.

There will be no spatial restrictions at the ball itself.

All measures are based on the information available as of mid-November 2021. Please keep in mind that there may be changes or cancellations at very short notice before the ball if according official measures are issued.
